Muscle Segmentation problems at UCSD

A list of problems found in MuscleSegmentation by UCSD using java1.5.0_13 and 12

  • Statistics take longer to compute in 4.4 than 4.1 (specifically 4.1.2 and 4.1.10 had reasonable speeds)
  • In custom pane, VOIs can only be added in first pane (both before and after a profile has been loaded
  • Statistics calculations
    • Need more info

No problems found, more testing needed:

  • Overwriting VOIs, check that file has actually been written over


Mipav features:

  • Default VOI thickness of two, unable to change system-wide
  • Alt tracing:
    • Unusual VOI flashing fixed in newer versions of MIPAV
    • Feature: VOI tracing without edge detection?
  • Open all VOIs from..., if folder is selected, open button should not disable
